• Buildings foundation problem and failure investigation: techniques and procedures.
• Common methods of repairs, basis and case histories.
• Brief case histories illustrating common problems and causes for low-rise buildings on soft ground, filled ground, etc. proposals for repairs are also included.
SECTION 3 (14.00-15.30)
• Detail case history 1: scope of investigation, analysis of results, findings, recommendations and details of proposed remedies plus design details.

Who are the speakers?
Qualification : • Bachelor Engineering (Hon) from University of Malaya.
• He was Vice President of IEM. (2004-2006)
Strength : • Geotechnical design for foundations, walls and slopes and as an independent geotechnical design checker.
• Published more than 50 technical papers on geotechnical and road engineering in various journals & bulletins.
Current job : • Director of E-Geo Consultant Sdn. Bhd.
Biodata : Ir. Neoh is Vice Precident of IEM (2004-2006), Chairman of Technical Committee for Geotechnics (TC5), Road Engineering Association Malaysia, (1997-2006) and also Chairman of IEM/CIDB/JPN organising committee.

He joined PWD Malaysia (74'-98') for 25 Years after graduated from UM (1974). He is currently (2000-2007) the Director of E-Geo Consultant Sdn. Bhd. who mainly involved in geotechnical design for foundations, walls and slopes and as an independent geotechnical design checker.

He has published more than 50 technical papers on geotechnical and road engineering in various journals & bulletins. He also presented in many local seminars and conferences.
